Everything you need to know
Cancel guides, explained.
How many cancel guides does ClickOff have?
143 detailed cancel guides across streaming, software, fitness, meal kits, news, and 7 other categories. Every major service with a subscription model has a dedicated guide covering web, mobile, phone, and email cancel paths — plus the dark patterns they try to trip you up with.
My service isn’t listed. What do I do?
Use the form below this section to request a guide. We add 5–10 services every week based on user demand. In the meantime, search for your service on the homepage — we may have it in the full database even if it’s not surfaced here.
Do I need to create an account?
No. ClickOff doesn’t require accounts, logins, or payment info. All 143 guides are free to access forever. We make money through affiliate commissions when users choose recommended alternatives — never from you.
What is GUIDEON?
GUIDEON is our guided cancel mode. When you click “Cancel” on any guide, GUIDEON opens the vendor’s real page on the right side of your screen while showing step-by-step instructions on the left. You cancel on the actual website — we just tell you which buttons to click and what dark patterns to avoid.
What if a service forces me to call to cancel?
Dark pattern alert. As of July 2024, the FTC Click-to-Cancel Rule requires online cancellation paths for any online signup. Our guides list every loophole, retention script, and confirmation requirement — plus the FTC complaint form if the service refuses to comply.
Do you get paid when I cancel?
No — the opposite. We earn commission only when you switch to a recommended alternative. You can ignore every suggestion we make and use the cancel guides completely free, forever. We win only when your next subscription is better than the one you just left.
