Why This Disclosure Exists

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that anyone receiving compensation for endorsing a product or service disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously. ClickOff complies with the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and the 2023 updates governing affiliate marketing transparency.

This page provides a comprehensive disclosure. Where appropriate, individual pages on ClickOff also include in-context disclosures near affiliate links so the relationship is always clear at the point of decision.

How ClickOff Earns Affiliate Revenue

ClickOff is a free platform. We do not charge users for our cancellation guides, our authorised-agent deletion service, or our newsletter. Our operating costs — servers, infrastructure, content production, legal compliance — are funded primarily through affiliate commissions.

An affiliate commission is a small fee paid to ClickOff by a subscription service when a user clicks through from our platform and chooses to subscribe with that service. The price you pay is the same whether you reach the service through ClickOff or directly. The commission comes out of the service's marketing budget — not your pocket.

Typical affiliate flows on ClickOff:

• Cancel guide alternatives: When a guide presents three "Best Value / Better Fit / Worth a Look" alternatives, the Subscribe button on each card may include affiliate tracking.
• Subscribe pillar: Direct subscribe links throughout the platform may include affiliate tracking.
• Email recommendations: Links in our drip sequences may include affiliate tracking.
• Featured Brands directory: Subscribe links from our directory may include affiliate tracking.

Affiliate tracking is processed through our affiliate-network partners (such as Skimlinks, Impact, ShareASale, and CJ Affiliate). When you click an affiliate link, a small browser cookie may be set to attribute the referral.

How We Stay Independent

ClickOff has a hard rule that protects user trust above all else: commissions never determine our recommendations.

• We provide cancellation guides for any major subscription service, regardless of whether that service has an affiliate relationship with us.
• We recommend alternative services based on genuine value, fit, and quality assessment — not commission rate.
• We never accept payment in exchange for inclusion in our directory, recommendations, or alternative cards.
• We do not "promote" services in misleading ways. If we say a service is good, we mean it. If we say it's poor value, we mean that too.
• If a service has a higher commission rate but is genuinely worse for users, we will not recommend it. This has happened.

Opting Out of Affiliate Tracking

You are not obligated to support ClickOff through affiliate links. If you'd prefer not to:

• You can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings.
• You can copy a service's name from our recommendation and search for it directly.
• You can use ad-blocking software, which often blocks affiliate trackers.
• You can use private/incognito browsing mode.

None of these actions affect your ability to use our cancellation guides, our deletion service, or any other ClickOff feature. Our content remains fully accessible regardless.

What Counts As Sponsored

ClickOff currently does not publish sponsored content, paid placements, or pay-to-play reviews. Should that change in the future, any sponsored content will be:

• Clearly labelled with the words "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership" prominently displayed.
• Distinguishable from organic content through visual treatment.
• Subject to the same editorial standards as our unpaid content.

The vast majority of our content — guides, reviews, alternative recommendations, the GUIDEON cancel flow — is editorial and unpaid. Where affiliate commissions exist, they are disclosed contextually and on this page.

Networks We Work With

ClickOff participates in affiliate programmes through several reputable networks:

• Skimlinks — Aggregated affiliate-link automation across thousands of programmes.
• Impact.com — Direct partnerships with major subscription brands.
• ShareASale — Partnerships with mid-market subscription services.
• CJ Affiliate — Partnerships with established consumer brands.
• Direct partnerships — In some cases ClickOff has direct affiliate relationships with brands, bypassing networks entirely.

Each network has its own privacy and data-handling practices. We encourage you to review their policies if you have specific concerns about how affiliate tracking works.

Editorial Standards for Reviews

ClickOff publishes reviews and ratings of subscription services across multiple categories. These reviews follow strict editorial standards:

• Reviews are written based on hands-on testing, public information, and verified user feedback.
• A service receiving a positive review may have an affiliate relationship with us — but the review itself is not influenced by that relationship.
• A service receiving a critical review may not have an affiliate relationship — and that absence does not influence our editorial position.
• Where a review prominently features a service with an affiliate relationship, the disclosure on that page makes the relationship explicit.

Who Operates ClickOff

ClickOff is operated by Phion Systems, LLC, a technology and publishing company. The platform is published at clickoff.io. Affiliate income is reported and taxed through Phion Systems, LLC under standard United States business reporting requirements.
