Everything You Need To Know
Questions? Answers.
If I cancelled, isn't my data gone?
No. Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn't remove what they already have — and it doesn't touch the data brokers they've already sold it to. Your address, phone, and purchase history are still being traded. The Vault is how you reach those brokers.
What does "authorized agent" mean?
Most state privacy laws let you appoint a third party to submit deletion requests on your behalf. You sign a one-time authorization, and ClickOff handles the legal paperwork with each broker. You stay in control. We do the legwork.
Which states are covered?
15 states have privacy laws in force, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. SB 362 (California) is the trigger event on August 1, 2026 — it's the first law that lets one request cover every registered broker at once.
How many data brokers does this cover?
All 545+ data brokers registered under the California Delete Act. That includes the major aggregators — Spokeo, Whitepages, BeenVerified, PeopleFinder, Acxiom, Epsilon — and hundreds of smaller resellers most people have never heard of.
Is this really free?
Yes. Initial deletion through the Vault is free, forever. No credit card required to reserve. Shield (continuous re-submission and monitoring) is the paid option at $49/year for founding members.
What happens after I reserve?
You'll get a reservation confirmation email immediately. On August 1, 2026, we submit your authorized deletion request to every registered broker. You'll receive a legal receipt for each successful deletion. No further action required on your end.
How is this different from doing it myself?
You can submit deletion requests one broker at a time, manually. It takes about 15 minutes per broker, and there are 545+ of them. ClickOff submits to all of them at once under one authorization. Same legal force, none of the runarounds.
